Watched her at LA major show judging boxers. She did excellent job. There were over five specials in the ring with two "very cocky" top handlers. She put up fawn female special with top handler up front and behind was magnificent red brindle male (not top handler). She had two of them go around free bate and stack. She found her winner brindle male that had everything boxer should have and what a mover he was. She stud behind her decision even after the first "top handler" looser complained, and complained and made big stink about and called the AKC rep to complain. She made great impression on many of us ringside picking the right dog not the handler.

showed to her this past weekend....very disappointed in her, as she gave the breed to a very poor specimen over two lovely class bitches (there were no specials....put up the dog from the open class), who had a handler at the other end of the leash...

Preferred size over type and movement. Wouldn't disregard the north end of the leash as part of the criteria either.

| Does not appear to understand the standard. Put up a dog with a great dane head for a 4 point major. Had several other much nicer examples to choose from.
All of her choices had poor heads and straight fronts. Better dogs were out there. |

I too used to enjoy showing to her. BUT, her politics have certainly clouded her judgment. She also seems to have very limited patience with fussy Komondors. Gave a BOB win to fellow judges. Many outside the ring did not feel this was the best Komondor to win the breed.

Does not appear to put a lot of weight on a breeds' outline/proportions in her decision process.

Gave a dog a specialty win that was clearly having trouble coping with the show environment. Slinked around the ring, crouched in the rear, and had that wild eyed, freaked out look. This was unacceptable as there lots of better dogs to choose from. She does not have a proper understanding of this breed.

Put up an inferior bitch that is having trouble finishing but it is owned and handled by a judge. There were other bitches in the ring much more deserving of the points.

A very pleasant woman, but in my opinion she has a distorted idea of the correct proportions for our breed. She seems to prefer entries with very short legs, rounder eyes, larger ears, and pays no attention to poor toplines. She also demonstrates no appreciation for the "smooth and effortless gait" as specified in our breed standard.

We used to respect her judging - not anymore. Use a handler or save your money.

Handlers all the way..

Judith likes good type, proper head, substance and coat in a Samoyed. she will put that up as well. She gave winners to a bitch being handled by a young boy for the first time. While a bit long backed, she had proper movement on the down and back and was quite cute... on the smaller side. Likes some neck and style.

Ugh, if breeders try to breed to her judging, we're fast going to have a GIANT breed. Not good, and sadly, not even nice anymore.

Put up a 9-12 puppy dog, owner handled for WD. Put up a handler from open brindle bitch for WB. Seems to be fair. I think she will do her own thing. Doesnt seem particularly biased towards handlers, and although we didnt win, I felt her judging was fair.

| Put up a handler, the only handler in the ring, after having pleasant conversations before and after the ring time with the handler.
Decision may have been unbiased but the optics of the relationship would suggest otherwise. |

Xint judge, businesslike, precise. Likes a working dog, appreciates good work ethic with breed type. Better bring your best to this person. Would not hesitate to enter under her.

Definitely a soft spot for a promising puppy. Likes soundness, movement, will consider natural ears but isn't married to them.

Not true in my breed about a handler as she put me up over a handler. I would agree she likes elegance and movement.

Bring her an entry with an elegant neck, good shoulders and movement and decent breed type and you have an excellent shot at Winners.

This judge needs to attend a judges' seminar to understand what the standard is. Poor judging.

Put a dog that shouldn't even finish due to its roach back up for breed and put a bitch that couldn't get around the ring for Best of Opposite - both had handlers - if you show to her better hire a big one!!! Showed to her again and for the last time. This time she put up men - had a thing for them this weekend. Put up an out of condition dog that could have used 15 pounds but then she isn't looking at the dog - it is all about the faces!!!
