Mr Gifford audibly referred to the NOHS groups as the "less than" groups. He is political and does not respect owner handlers.

Showed to him last weekend. He used to be a movement judge but has apparently gone over to the Dark Side. He made a great appearance of watching each dog but ended up putting a pup with a hackneyed front for WD/BOW that was handled by a pro and then gave its litter mate, also with a terrible front, BP/PG1.

Very impressed with this judge. Obviously knows the breed standard and was very consistent in his picks. Was obvious he was looking for the total package of movement, structure and soundness that closest met the standard. The first judge I have actually seen take notes on each individual dog and bitch as he thoroughly went over it and watched it move. In picking WD and WB he reviewed his notes, as he looked them over again and watched them move together. He took his time and often referenced back to his notes. He was very kind to show to and at no time did I feel he was looking at the other end of the lead. He put up both owner handlers and professional handlers for the wins. Would definitely show to him again.

Always puts up the best dog regardless of who the handler is. Will award BBE dogs

I always thought he was a movement judge but not anymore. If your dog has a bad, flailing front, he'll like it.

Picked nice dogs in a small entry. Put up our bitch for WB with a seven-year-old handling.

Judge spent more time watching cute JrHandlers than dogs. Consequently very inconsistent placements.
