| I would not recommend this judge to anyone. Ms Jordan was over an hour behind judging a show with VERY low entries. She said some very odd things to exhibitors in the ring. She made handlers move dogs over and over despite an entry of 6 total, as though she couldn't remember one minute to the next. Several exhibitors/ handlers remarked once outside the ring, that she seemed mentally impaired. She clearly should retire. | ||||||||

| I am a brand-new competitor and I just completed my fourth-ever day of showing AKC, unfortunately under Victoria Jordan. I am new, I am learning, and I have a young 16-month old blue great dane, so I really don't expect much out of these shows, but I do expect to be treated respectfully. Unfortunately, Victoria can't even manage to be a decent human being. So, like those who have left comments about her before me, I am here to say, save your money, don't waste your time, steer clear of this one, especially if you are new, an owner-handler, or have a color or dog type that is normally subjected to racism in AKC, forget it, it's not worth your time with this lady. She won't just disappoint you, she'll anger you. First, she was 30 minutes late for the class. I'm a forgiving Californian, maybe it was traffic, I have no idea, and I never would have mentioned it if it weren't for her being a totally rude, arrogant prick after she arrived. As I entered the ring for my class, she was standing at the front of the ring, under the cover, at the entry table, facing out of the ring, not even facing or looking my way. The Ring Steward said twice on my way in to make sure she saw my number. I think she said it twice, and louder the second time, because after the first time, as I walked in, the judge never turned around to look. I had to twist my body completely at a 45%+ degree angle to get my left shoulder in her direction, and she was facing out of the ring. After the second notification by the ring steward, the judge did glance up and over her right shoulder at my number, then turned her head back away from me, looking down at paperwork on the table, and she motioned with her right hand kind of behind her for me to keep going, and she said something under her breath, I think it was maybe, "go on around" or something, but I wasn't sure, so I slowed up, and pretty much came to a stop before I passed her, and I leaned in to ask, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you," or something, and then she turned around and nastily exclaimed something like, "I told you to go on around." Now, I'm new and don't pretend to know anything, but the hell if I'm going to jog my dog around a ring when the judge's back is literally to the ring, while she is fiddling with paperwork with her head down. But, that's what she wanted me to do, so off I went, and by the time I made my first turn, she had come out from under the canopy and was finally at least looking in my direction. As I was finishing my around, she was out in front of me on the ropes, so I stopped about judges' distance away from her and started setting up my dog. She stood about 4 feet away, and eventually I looked up and she said to me that I needed to move closer to her. Okay, so much for that, I moved my 16 month old closer to her, so that she could finally get herself off the ropes and into the ring to look at his side profile. I start to set him up again and she's breathing over me, I wasn't done and she moved forward, was actually breathing over me, and I finished the best I could and presented my dog, who at this point had stepped slightly out because she approached him while I was trying to set him. Look, I admit my dog and I have work to do, but this isn't Westminster. So she went over him and spent an ungodly amount of time at his rear end. Eventually he started to tuck, she released and he stood back up, then she went in for the kill, I have no idea what she did, but I swear she did it on purpose to make him fold under, he tried to sit, I got on his other side and kept him propped up as quickly as I could. She seemed proud of herself. I don't know what she was doing to him back there for so long, I hope she enjoyed herself. Then we got to the bite and she had a major problem with how I presented the front of his bite. Look, again, I've got a lot to learn, but I have had lessons and this was my 4th showing experience, and no one has had a problem with me yet, neither has my dog, but she was really upset with how I must have pushed on his nose when I lifted his front lips to show the front of his bite. I was still trying to be a decent human being, I apologized, and she said something to the effect of don't apologize to me, apologize to your dog, it was rude, whatever it was, and she kept at it, showing me how it's done, but very rudely. About then, I checked out. Up and back and out of there. Others must have gotten wind of her being the judge today and either didn't sign up or scratched because Winners came really fast after that, way faster than the days before it, and I'm new and still trying to watch and listen. I was about 8 feet from the ring entrance, under a tent with about 20 great danes smashed together, staying out of the sun, and yes, I had no idea Winners was happening so quickly, I heard my number get called loudly by the steward and I went running in within a few seconds, and Victoria was already pissed off at me, waved me to the right, I appeared to be first in line, so I did what we had done the past two days, and when I saw a huge line behind me, I made the decision to go down the side she told me and then I turned left to create enough of an L shaped space for everyone to stack up in. Well, big mistake, I of course hadn't heard her say something about staying in the shade. She was real pissed at me then. I swear, folks, I have the hearing of a 17 year old boy, I am not kidding, I could show you my latest hearing test, I do music and audio for a living, my hearing is super important, and I'm very trained to listen - a lot - and that lady never told me, directly, or anywhere near me at any level I could hear, that she wanted us in the shade. So I turned around and went into the shade where like 15 great danes squeezed into about 10 feet of space. She was so rude with her tone and actions, not just to me I learned, we were all talking about her in the line. This is the moment when competitors become friends, you know, when you're all "going through something" together. Yeah, that was our experience with Victoria today. So I was stuck behind a pole, too, that was fun, nowhere to go in that shade under that canopy that was supported by a pole. Although it didn't matter because she was only going to look at fawns and brindles anyway. So my 16-month old stood there like a champion for a while, butt to nose, butt to nose, being so incredibly good, not moving an inch, while we waited for every fawn and then a brindle to go up and back out of the line, and she never even looked our way, purposely passed us and purposely didn't look. By then I was just having fun with my puppy, making sure my stress and anger didn't affect him negatively. Thank you, Victoria, for being the worst experience anyone could possibly have at an AKC show, I really appreciate it, my dog and I grew closer today, as well as the competitors. If I have one more experience like this at an AKC show I will never show AKC again for the rest of my life. She should not be allowed to judge anymore, AKC should read the comments, they go back many, many years. She is a horrible ambassador for AKC, she is a horrible human being . I will be complaining to AKC, and I will be asking the sponsoring club for my entry fees and parking fees back. I don't expect anything other than to be treated respectfully at these shows, and if AKC can't do that, I don't want any part of it. I wasted an entire day of my life, not to mention hours of practicing, lessons, devoted time, preparation time, mileage, and more to pay to be subjected to this ? You have to be kidding me. I have never experienced anything like this in my life, and I've been to international music competitions and I showed horses when I was younger, and no one has ever come close to being as rude as Victoria. | ||||||||

| Rude and arrogant. Don't waste your money entering to her. Need to retire completely or learn some manners. | ||||||||

| No more entries from me. Puts up well known handlers with short legged fuzzy dogs. After 3x entered under her, I should know now that owner handlers won't be considered for a placement. | ||||||||

| I've read the comments on this judge and found her to be right the opposite. I believe she is looking for gate, good coat. Most of us had fun in her ring & will show to her again when in my area. | ||||||||

| In all my 44 years of handling my show dogs, this one will NEVER get another entry penny from me again. Her arrogant rude behavior as a judge should be corrected. When this judge was asked by the very gentle, kind, humble first in line owner handler in the ring if he should go over in the corner or stay under the tents, she arrogantly sarcastically asked he he also wanted a dunce cap to go with that. She also left an owner handler move up squeezed out of the line and the handler didnt even get her dog in the line up as she then proceeded down the line to look at the dogs in breed. Her attulitude and treatment of owner handlers was terrible. She never once came, out into the middle of the ring and I was not impressed one single bit. I will not support judges like this ANYMORE. After showing for so many years I'm done rewarding rude arrogant judges like this. I don't even want to rate her in the numbers because there is no ranking for -00000, but so it will show up in the ratings, I gave her a one … it says I need to be constructive in my comment and mine constructive comment is for you new exhibitors to think twice on entering under her. | ||||||||

| All over the place with her placings. She wasn't playing politics, just selecting dogs randomly. She really hadn't a clue about corgis. There was no consistency at all. None of us could figure out what she was looking for. On my DNS list and that list only has one other name on it. If her aim was to make as many DNS lists as possible in one show, mission accomplished ! | ||||||||

| This judge needs to be aware of her personal hygiene. She wore perfume that offended both dogs and exhibitors. Bottom line she stunk! | ||||||||

| Seemed to like the entries with leg and good movement, spent good time with those she considered, but rudely skipped over those she had eliminated early, perhaps unfairly. Winners classes were made up mainly of smaller, blues or tris. Same popular, nice tri was BOB for entire cluster, and beautiful tri bitch was BOW. | ||||||||

| Have seen her judge the breed 3 times (one huge puppy match before she got her license, one supported entry and one show the day after a specialty). She seemed to be pretty consistent in what she liked. Cuter dogs, especially pretty puppies, with some style. | ||||||||

| Over the course of one weekend, I was involved with her judging Shelties, Anotolian Shepherds, and German Shorthair Pointers. I was completely confused as to what this judge was looking for! I cannot even say that she was political, simply that she picked very random dogs. Definitely on my DNS list!! | ||||||||

| Likes Big dogs, dose not truly know the standard, Still gave points to a dogs that was/miss handled in ring by handler letting the dog run up over the back of the dog in front of them. Some what afraid of the dogs. | ||||||||
