This judge knows dogs -- picks according to type, movement, and structure regardless of who's handling the dog. She had several very nice specials in her ring with a couple of the biggest names in the game, but she carefully evaluated and placed on the breed hallmarks and correctness of movement and structure, and even put up an owner-handler with a deserving dog for breed. This is the type of judge clubs SHOULD be hiring!! I'd drive a long way to show to her.

Did a great job this past weekend at a small show with what she was given. Wasn't afraid to go with the best dog in the ring regardless of who was on the end of the lead.

Seems to go with convention. In an extremely small entry, she did okay in classes as there were no handlers, but went with the big name handler in breed. I may try her again in a larger entry.
