In a working breed, she’s a head judge, and not in a good way. . |

I had high hopes for this judge when I first met her, and though not her mentor, I she did ask me questions about the breed, and SEEMED very interested. Yesterday was one of the worst examples of blatant favoritism and "you knew exactly how it would go down before entering the ring" I've had the displeasure of experiencing. Now, that said, I am not a poor loser - my dog did not deserve to win yesterday, so I'm not upset it wasn't me. But who she did put up was such a poor candidate. The bitch those handlers brought was far his superior, in every way.

Very political, didn’t even try to hide her bias towards a friend in the ring. Save your money and sleep in on days with this judge. |

Judge for owner handler sporting group, entry of 9 sporting breeds all of which were great examples of their breed. I thought she did a great job with this group. She was very thorough and very kind to show under |

Save your money and don’t waste your time. This would not know a good dog if she saw one. Admitted in the ring she does not know the standard and picked a Handler with a really bad dog |

Save your money. If there wasn't a handler in the ring she has a hard time making up her mind. But as soon as the Pro entered her ring that's where her attention and placement went. DNS list top 10. A 1 is to high of a score for this judge.

Outstanding judge. She is the most thorough judge i have witnessed in my year of dog shows (18 days of shows). Her exam was very gentle and covered every inch of the dog. It appeared she used her hands to compare some proportions. She was so gentle our 7 month old at his 2nd show was very comfortable. On her down and back as well as the go'round she watched the entire trip all the way to the end for every dog.I watched her judge for three more hours while waiting for Juniors to start in the ring beside her. She continued to do this with every dog!Every exhibitor got their $29 worth.
My 17 y/o son who has been handling for 4 months took our 7 month old puppy in for breed. He won his class of three, then didn't place WD or RWD. As soon as the WD and RWD went to the table she pulled my son aside and gave him son excellent feedback on our puppy. It was very encouraging to him and for us. Judges like this will keep the fancy alive. |

Pleasant in the ring. Appears to prefer black dogs and handlers. Will reward the BBE class. |

If she doesn't know the standard for a breed she will put up who she knows. I got the feeling that she's one of those "oh, so and so is showing it so it must be good" judges. She's a German Shepherd breeder so movement and type should be important to her...or so you'd think. I've seen enough of her judging style both inside the ring and out to know it's not worth it to enter to her. |

I think this judge does not know the standard for our breed. |

Yes! Yes! Yes! She really looked at every dog in the ring and even gave feedback on the dogs. Very pleasant judge. Was excellent with a Junior Handler that was in the ring. She likes a dog with good foot placement and free stack. More judges should take a page out of her book when it comes to treating exhibitors. |

Patient and calm - Was thorough and has an eye for movement. Friendly to a Jr Handler new to AKC. would absolutely show to again. |

Pretty much clueless. SAve your $ unless she knows you or you have a big handler. |

I don't find that she has a good grasp of the standard. Observed her at a breed seminar and she continually argued with the presenters about what they were teaching; trying to argue them into agreeing with her view of the standard. Wasted almost 1/2 hour where we could have been learning. Her judging reveals her lack of understanding. |

After reading what a poor judge Ms. Godek is, I didn't enter any class dogs. My handler did enter my special as she always thinks positive. Ms. Godek dumped the BIS special, the only special, to an immature, gawky, poorly put together class dog. In fact, the handler of the class dog who won was extremely embarrased. My feeling is that Ms. Godek does not know the breed and therefore chooses the handlers she knows. Very sad for our breed and others as well. I will be recommending to our kennel club not to hire this judge even though she is local. On my DNS list. |

This judge was horrible with the Komondor puppy entry. She literally screamed at one of the handlers on a puppy dog! Has no apparent idea how to approach this breed or puppies in general. Save you money! |

My experience with this judge is to never show a puppy to her. She may have ruined the future showing of a 7 month old pup in his 1st ring experience. Viewed that most of the other dogs also backed away from her. This seems to tell us something. Also was not pleasant to show to. |

Puzzling. Not sure what this judge is looking for? Doesn't seem to put up movement , temperament or breed type. Hard to follow. Have no idea what I would bring to her ring. Took a very very long time to judge a small show. Have shown with mixed results, however would be unlikely to show again to this judge, far too inconsistent. |

Good eye and willing to put up an owner/handler |
