If you haven't read "Mysteries of Breed Type" you should. Rick Beauchamp, for a few $, can change the way you look at dog shows. I doubt anyone knows more about it all than Mr. Beauchamp.

Did a good job today with a small entry. seemed fair

Always a fair shot in the TT ring, win or lose. Likes the breed, all the way back to Shazam. Understands the nuances, rewards type and movement. No preferance to color. Will use a TT @ group level. Does tend to be political at group level.

Found this judge to be honest and gave you your monies worth when looking at the dog... Again this judge did a good job finding quality, he gave my 9 m0. old puppy breed 4 point major. likes what he likes

He put up my puppy for best of variety over a special that was handled by another judge 8-0. So, either he was trying to make a statement, or, he really liked my dog. For what it's worth, my puppy is very "flashy" without being overly typey He moves well, but definitely has his faults.

Seems like he would rather be somewhere else doing anything but judging a dog show. Isnt very happy and the dogs pick up on that

Good ring procedure. That is where it ends, he judges faces and friends. I can not blame anyone else I was warned by serveral others, but had to find out myself.

Understands the Bichon Standard and will reward accordingly no matter who is on the other end of the lead.

All over the place. One day a Group 1 at a big show - months later, not even the cut?!

Totally a clueless man. He can only see friends in the ring. Is both rude and obnoxious to show to! He writes a good line, but sure can't judge like it!

Absolutely knows nothing about quality in the breed...only the "background" of the handler on the end of the lead.

After all these years I still don't know what he's looking for. Guess I never will.

Placed super nice natural eared bitch as Reserve Winners bitch. Not sure, but might be a handler judge as he placed the only pro handled bitch first from the 6-9 month class. I disagreed with the placement.
