| Oh what a sour puss. Rude and unhappy. Do NOT take your puppy or happy dog to this guy because he isn't a fan. My sweet girl tried to nudge his hand for a treat and he didn't even smile. Then he didn't even talk to give direction in the ring, just pointed and grunted. On the down and back I realized it was a waste of my time, he doesn't know me. I also realized I couldn't respect this guys opinion even after paying for it. And yes, he puts up the same kennel/handler in Danes for years and years. Never again with this judge. AKC, I want my $100 back for gas and entry! | ||||||||

| Still trying to figure out what he likes, what his pet peeves are, etc. Consistently dumped my #1 dog, from the time he was a puppy, and although his reasons for not liking him weren't consistent, I learned not to show that dog to him (I suspect he's unwilling to ever admit he was wrong about a dog). But I have also won under him. Worth one shot but if he doesn't like the dog, I wouldn't give him another chance with that one. Take him something else until you figure out what he likes. I do think he can be political, which is his biggest downfall. Recently gave BOB to a bitch who was lame (increasingly so over the last few months). Hard to miss, yet he did and can only think he was blinded by the handler on the dog. UPDATE: I will NEVER give this man another entry after what he did yesterday at a Swissy Specialty. His WB not once but TWICE got away from its owner on the go-around and jumped the bitch in front of her. And there is NO QUESTION....he saw it. The whole ring and ringside saw it, as this we when he was sending the class around together. One time, maybe right it off to an accident, but the fact that it happened a second time, the next time he sent them around...and yet he rewarded that behavior with WB at a Specialty? | ||||||||

| Very friendly. Knows what he likes in Berners and puts it up. He didn't put up my open dog because he was too big for him and that is fine. On my "show to" list. | ||||||||

| Very pleasant to show to, very gentle and patient. He likes a great coat, square, showy dog. He has put up my bitch several times and she hasn't been shown by a pro handler yet. He knows what he likes and he puts it up. He is on my show list. | ||||||||
