Heavy handed with dogs and extremely rude to exhibitors whether they are pros or OH. If he ever knew movement, structure and Standards he no longer uses that information in the ring. DNS and definitely DNH. Save your money. This judge needs to retire.

Hire a face he can recognize or better yet, save your entry fee. this is not a judge!

DNS if you are not a pro you wont get any points under this judge. He knows the faces and uses them.

Can't they find a better judge for Eukanuba? Never again! Very partial to sables and then blues. Didn't consider a tri all day.

Appears stern, but actually a very kind judge, listened to his quiet, thoughtful comments at a specialty from outside the ring, really looked at the dogs, didn't care about handlers.

Don't think he said more than two words to anyone in the ring and acted like he didn't want to be there! I won't go out of my way to show to him again.

Kind of grumpy in the ring, and hardly ever speaks a word. In a small entry, he gave WB to a very nice puppy who was owner handled, over a well known handler. But seems to be a fault judge rather than judging the dog as a whole.

Not particularly pleasant to show to. No patience with puppies (don't waste your time or money). I believe he probably knows dogs and can put that knowledge to work if none of his friends are in the ring. And that's a big IF. Most recently saw him give points to a 6 year old bitch (in a breed that tends to finish between 1 and 2 years of age) who was limping badly in the front end, and has been for years. She was handled by an influential pro in this part of the country. The bitch had beautiful breed type, and had she been sound, would have no problem with his choice. But I just can't stomach a judge rewarding a dog that is painfully lumbering around the ring.

Was fair, giving consideration to all. Spent time to do a good job. Movement and structure very important.

He dumped my hard coat bitch and told me I need to get some grooming help. Next day came to the ring and watched her get a major win. He said he didn't understand the coat, But he was willing to learn more, I really admire that. I would definitely show to him again, especially with his willingness to understand the breed type more.

Knows movement and correct breed type. Understands the Standard.
