Gave a massive BBE Working Group 1st to a mediocre but top-ranked Samoyed handled by a very (in)famous handler. Granted, this was at the AKC National Championship, where politics plays a huge role and puts a lot of pressure on judges to make the most politically favorable decisions, so I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume this is not how she would ordinarily do her placing at a normal-sized, typical local show. Still, very disappointed that she let the dog’s handler take precedence over the dog’s unimpressive quality and overlooked many flaws in the process, snubbing more well-deserving dogs of the opportunity to have higher group placements and greater rewards, including a gorgeous, structurally sound, and well-bred Great Dane (ironically, her original breed).

Have shown to her twice. Each time I was satisfied with the dogs she put up. Knows movement, has gentle hands and everyone is considered equally, especially in the classes.

day I showed to her, she watched movement and you better have you running shoes on we did lots of going around the ring, also all 3 of her bov winners in dachshunds were owner handlers and breeders of their specials. pleasant took her time with each entry ring was little behind schedule but she did not make anyone feel rushed. seem to like movement and free stacking. in wires put up bov and wb were litter mates and wd was litter mate to bos winner. took time from her lunch break to do photos. really nice judge who enjoy judging. put up both sizes we only had couple handlers at this show but big entry in dachshund believe majors in all coats so she took her time to judge us. would show to her again and any young shy dog or puppy would get a great experience

Seems to put a lot of emphasis on best behavior of the exhibit. In Bichons where gentle , sensitive, playful and affectionate are breed type . I think there is room for leeway in behavior . She seemed to consider each exhibit with a watchful eye.

10/7/19-Previous comments still stand. No clue what a truly good dachshund looks like when it comes to breed level. Seems to get it in the WD/WB. 9/1/14-If she knows someone personally in the ring that is who she will put up. Otherwise you better be a professional handler with a well known face! Does take her time with the dogs and forgives misbehavior.

This judge knows her stuff. She takes a long time to judge but REALLY looks at the dogs. Seems to focus on structure and movement. I think she did a great job in our breed

Extremely professional. Very thorough. Pleasant and easy to follow ring procedures. Agreed with virtually all her picks in every breed. Would show to her anytime, anywhere. Have totally changed my mind on this post from 5 years ago--showed to her recently and she does not know type in my breed at all--she made some very poor picks.

Judged a supporting entry and did a wonderful job. Gave each dog a very good look and knows the standard well. Extremely pleasant to show to; I would go to anytime.

I was pleased with the consideration she gave each dog, and felt like I got her unbiased opinion. I will show to her again.

Nice lady and very gentle in the ring. However she put up a lame dog for winners dog just because he was with a big name handler. Both should be ashamed of this. Cant argue with the rest of her choices

pleasant in the ring, efficient, and gives each exhibit equal attention. Good owner/handler judge, but best dog prevails regardless of handler. She frequently compares dogs during the individual exam & movement -

This judge is fair and looks at the dog- looking for movement. Would certainly show to this judge again.

Careful with attention of gait. Picked the better dog, even though it was not mine.

Seems to fairly consider each entry. Appears to have a good handle on correct breed proportions and selects entries which are a bit "higher on leg" but still correct. At least I feel that I could follow her reasoning and I liked her even though I did not win with every entry.

Pays close attention to movement and tries to put up best moving dogs every time. Will dump a specials dog for better class animal. Fair to all, doesn't play games or favorites.
