I read the critiques. But entered because my puppy boy needed the practice. I was not impressed. She had you show the bite, barely went over the dog, patted the dog like 2 times, I don't believe she even checked for testicles, and that was it.

I was disappointed by Wendy's judging at a recent specialty with a large, lovely entry. She missed many smooth-moving, moderate dogs with good proportions and put up dogs with less leg. She did not watch dogs move unless she already liked them based on her first impression of them. If she didn't like your dog, she'd only watch the first few steps of the go around. She seemed to have a very narrow definition of type and eliminated all others as contenders before giving them a good look. The dogs she ended putting up were flashy movers but not correct. Her WD was a puppy with a straight shoulder with coat hairsprayed straight up and she should've seen through that. She seems to only put up shorter backed dogs, faulting dogs with the same proportions but who are taller and longer. Her exam was very cursory. She did not seem political though.

After showing to her twice, I had to place her on my DNS list, which I don’t do lightly. She apparently has no idea of the Border Collie breed standard. Movement is not even in her realm of evaluation and Border Collies are a MOVEMENT BREED! Her picks have no rhyme or reason - appear to be completely arbitrary. Sadly, in my breed, she’s simply awful.

I thought she was a movement judge but I was obviously wrong. She will only put up handlers or people she knows. On my DNS list.

Her hands on exam was no more than the 'stand for exam' in novice obedience. Would not go out of my way to show to her again even though my dog did OK under her.

She will wicket if she thinks a dog is oversize. She gave us breed over a top handler.

Watched this lady judge both corgis over the weekend - the most deserving entries were dumped for very, very poor examples of both breeds - All I could tell was that the deserving entries acted up a bit during the lineup while the poor ones stood like statues - I guess she could not see the dog if it moved - But she did give the breed to the biggest FACE in the ring, imagine that! - Will never give her an entry.

Seems to have little or no understanding of the standard. Prone to looking up the lead. Judging is very puzzling to say the least. Is not consitent, nor shows the knowledge of her husband Paul Willhauck

The dogs have nothing to do with her judging - whispers her instructions to the exhibitors. Will go with the familiar face every time, a real insult to exhibitors

She judged Koms at Westminster in 2007. Word was Ernesto would win the breed with his Kom. In the ring Wendy told Ernesto what to do. Chaos & I were first in the line up & could not hear her instructions. When I asked her to repeat what she had said, Wendy says to me, "Oh, it must be hard." Duh, I couldn't hear her. On my DNS List!!!!

difficult to understand her judging- no apparent rhyme or reason to her decisions.
