Very consistent and knows good dogs. Willing to put up OH over top pros. Clearly looking at movement, type. Thorough, careful judge. Always very nice to exhibitors too.

Faces only! Other than who was on the other end of the lead, there was no consistency to her choices in good size entry.

Unlike her counterpart I find THIS judge to be both competent and apolitical. People that feel politics enter into her selections need to take a little personal inventory. I have consistently beat top handlers but not only is my dog worthy but it is better groomed, with more showmanship and fits the standard, If you want to run with the big dogs you had better have ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!! On a personal note, I believe that showing an ungroomed, unkempt dog is an insult to the judge and a detriment to your breed regardless of it's merit.

Political or not, but she knows her dogs and has the right approach to them. Patient with green dogs and puppies. Has enough sense of humor to handle whatever goofy youngsters can pull at You in the ring. Would show to her again.

Proved without a doubt she is all about faces and politics last wknd. So many poor choices with one thing in common ..all Pro friends.

Ms. Sweigart seemed to "get" breed type, although she had a very small entry to choose from. Very clear ring procedure, easy on the dogs (asked handler to show the bite) and pleasant.

Appalling is the only way to describe the judging I watched today. This judge put up for breed a dog with no breed type and a major fault (tail set and carriage). This could only have been because she has no idea at all about the breed standard, or because she was swayed by the handler. What she did today was a huge disservice to the breed. Absolutely DNS. I have witheld my name and the specific breed only to spare the owner of the BoB dog embarassment.

Friends and faces. A little rude too.

Not judging so much as looking for familiar faces.

As a professional handler married to THE most political handler in the last 20 years she has her friends.

Needs to revisit the standard for toy breeds where she holds a provisional license. A mentor would also be very helpful. If she knew the standard then she would not need go with what is generally in the ring but look for what the standard calls for. Also needs a kinder hand on the dog.

Does a competent job in the classes, but disappointingly political at breed level considering there are some very nice specials in this area who are always overlooked for "Friends". Is kind and courteous to novices in the ring, but I feel gives more attention to handlers or at least recognizable owner/handlers and seems to only consider them for winners and reserve. I think she really does know a good dog so I hope she loses this bad habit and considers deserving dogs whose handlers she doesn't recognize.
