Beyond sad to watch him judge BIS at Westminster. Appeared confused. After announcing he was looking for the dog who was "asking for it," he proceeded to put up the one dog in the ring who was NOT asking for it. The dog actually backed away from him.

While ago during private conversation Mr. Green mentioned to me he doesn't care for my breed. Today he proved the fact he truly doesn't. Not to question the quality of his winners ( it was no bad dogs on this show), but the fact that type of his winners was all over place. Short athletic with wiry coat, long one and flat with no coat, good mover, crawler... Dumped all specials over class dogs, including one of the top rated dogs in country whom earlier he gave a breed at show with over 40 dogs entry... Total nonsense. It wasn't even about the faces. I have no idea what it was about, beside the fact I'll waste my entry at him no more. Even when I do not win, I like to know what to expect and understand the judging criteria. And at this case I can not do it. DNS

I knew better but, thought I would give him one more try. Should have saved my money to buy a copy of the standards to send to him. When the gallery outside the ring is as bewildered as the exhibitor......well, let's just say I got the short end of the stick. Last entries he will ever get from me. You would think someone that has the supposed expertise they get from years of handling would put up a proper representative of a breed. One time should have been enough. Two times just proves I am either stupid or ridiculously optimistic. "Nuf said.

doesnt know this breed...judged faces. my bitch won 3 days in a row after being dumped by this judge on the first day of cluster. he chose a handler that he had seen before instead of choosing the best dog. i show from the bred by class. half the time i looked at him in winners he was staring up at the ceiling and didnt seem to care about his assignment

Very consistent in type and pleasant in the ring. If he likes a dog he will give it every opportunity.

GOOD SELECTIONS. nOT oBVIOUSLY POLITICAL

Polite, friendly, gentle hand with the dogs. Seemed to truly enjoy what he was doing. Gave feedback about what he liked about the dog, and what I could do better to present the dog in its best light. Very helpful. Would gladly show to him at any time!

He was nice to show to, very gentle with the dogs. He is quite so pay attention and likes to double check bites also likes a mature or filled in body. He will tell you what he likes or what needs to have improvement on your dog (which I like) as it helps some newer people at showing.

Has admitted to not being ready to judge large classes in this breed and seems to go for generic 'show dog' movement rather than correct Staffie movement. Also seemed to only choose handlers and other judges handling in the ring...seemed unsure of what to do...Another who prefers large heads to correct heads. Too bad. With his experience in terriers we could have used a good judge.

Extremely political and easily bought. The sad part is he knows a good dog but he has forgotten how to pick the best dog. It is really sad :-(

My first time ever showing to this gentleman. He seemed to want very well behaved, which is hard to come by in this breed, and I beleive he judged both black and reds equally, didnt seem to have a preference in color, but I thought that he does have a preference for a dog on the smaller end of the height scale. He did NOT play politics.

Very disappointed with his judging of short coated terriers. Only show coated terriers and use a handler.

political to the nth degree.

Does not live up to his hype. May be better in Welsh, Wires, norwich, norfolk, airedales. He seems uneasy and not sure of himself.

looked for the best known handler, not the best dog

Sadly, he doesn't appear to like this breed nor think it should be in the Terrier group, he could do well but he doesn't really try, his friends(handlers) seem to do very well under him. Maybe someday he'll decide to do right by this breed.
