DNS - Was confused in the ring and apparently political.

was tiered at the end of a long day, was able to find good dogs in a sea of entries

She hasn't changed any since the last post and it's been 4 years. Judged Danes before us, not sure what was going on but they took 10 minutes or more with Rep and Show Chair. Every exam was different, got totally lost in BOB.

Absolutely abhorrent ring procedure. Has no idea what she is doing in Danes and got completely lost in the breed ring. Couldn't remember which class dogs she had seen and which dogs needed to be examined and admitted she'd already made her picks before she had even examined all of the entries. Looked for every tooth on some dogs and on others she forgot to examine the mouth at all. Didn't feel for ribs or shoulders but pulled tails to check their length. Every entry had a different exam. Was vocal about her annoyance than an AKC rep was watching her ring for so long. All over the place.

was very pleasant despite having worked very hard all day -it was hot -we were outside- she took her time -was looking for a square balanced dog-

Clueless would be an understatement. She got lost in her breed ring and had to call all the breed dogs back into the ring after dismissing them.

Ms. Feld required our giant breed to move down an back an stop with a free bait. In our giant breed we do not show our dogs that way, which makes it overall difficult to handle our breed. There were times where it appeared that she wasn't quite sure in choosing her placements. She will however put up owner handlers. Always be respectfully aware of following her instructions in the ring.

Put up what she want Even for breed. Prefers a sound square dog and judges to the standard. Does not seem to like oversize boxers even though we do not have a size DQ

This judge is thorough when looking at a black-looked to see if she could find white hairs & did & told me that was what she was looking for. I then told her that I did not dye my black - she gave me a 4pt major & there were several handlers in the ring at time. Very gentle with puppies & would definitely show to her again.

When she saw the handlers in the ring, the others did not matter.

Very pleasant in the ring-- good with puppies. However, after complimenting the exhibitor showing a nicely coated dog in the Best of Breed class and thanking him "for not trimming" the dog, she put up an entry (shown by a handler) with closely trimmed feet, a shaved neck and definitely shaped & trimmed ears. A BIG no-no for this breed. Obviously doesn't know the standard.

Excellent judge that is gentle with the dogs and looks for a well moving and sturdy dog. She does not look at the north end of the lead as numerous BIG TIME handlers walked out of her group while owner handlers with equally nice dogs placed.

Does not judge looking at handlers. Those past comments the handlers must have had the better dogs.

I don't know what the complaints could possibly be about, unless these writters are handlers. I showed to Mrs Feld this weekend and found her to delightfully genuine and thorough and found the right dogs.

The only thing she can judge is faces (I have never lost under her)and, even then, she sometimes has a problem. The only time I will show to her is if she is judging a middle day of a cluster. Doesn't even know structure much less type.

Got through her assignment by looking at faces not dogs. Never again.

A now deceased field rep after watching this judge asked the president of the breed club to talk to her as in this one assignment, "she set the breed back fifty years."
