Did a good job with a small entry and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Good ring procedure, good attituded. I will show to him again.

Clueless! Does NOT know a good dog. Consistent in finding an unworthy dog handled by a pro and put will them up over a top winning, excellent example of the breed handled by a breeder (not my dog). Borderline rude to exhibitors. Watched him judge several breeds and group. For several breeds in which there was a class with a lone entry, he was bored and looking out of the ring at other dogs/people.

preferred a typeless entry that ran around the ring quickly. does not understand the breed. his best of breed winner could have been a flat coated retriever

Obviously did not read the standard as he did not know that he only needs to check for a scissors bite. His insistence on a full dental examination was disturbing to the younger and less experienced dogs. I will avoid him in the future.

This judge appreciates a well balanced, typey dog with a strong topline & good movement. He doesn't look up the lead, looks at the dog. Would show a good dog to him anytime. Didn't notice rough mouth exams and my dog is young.

Does not cross points over gratuitously. Will only do so if he is sincerely and seriously impressed by the beneficiary. Did a nice job in my breed of recognizing breed type AND quality as opposed to generic structural quality in the absence of breed type.

This man believes bigger is better. Other considerations, such as breed type do not come in to play. Too rough on the dog's mouths also.

Wants a good topline on a typey dog.

very rough handling of mouths---my breed does not require jaws to be spread wide open and lips peeled back to count teeth. He freaked out a number of young sammys the day I showed to him by doing this. Would not show youngsters or inexperienced dogs to him because of this. |
