Watched him with other breeds. Did not even look at some dogs gait. He DID look at short skirts and lo cut tops. A joke for a judge!

Very friendly and soft spoken. Ring procedure is unusual in that after your down and back he sends you back in line without going around the ring. He put up my tri-color out of Am-bred with my husband handling for a major. My husband has only shown a few times and was nervous, but Mr. Voran was very patient with him. Consistent with his placements -- will show to him again.

Mr. Voran IGNORED my dog in the ring. It's as he and his handler did not exist. Our first clue was that the Boxer entry (his breed) dropped by a third on the day he judged. Structure or breed type didn't matter to him. I think what mattered the most to him was if you had on a dress that showed off your figure.

Put up dogs he liked in the group, not based on ranking and backer like all the other sheep judges in TX

very nice but found his ring procedure to be all over the place and confusing. Did not agree with all his class placements, but cannot fault his overall winners. Will give him another try if he comes up again in my area.

Found him to be pleasant and likes to see a good solid working dog with good movement.

Mr. Voran was our ring steward at the Eukanuba National Championship this year. My dog was 5th in the final 6 in the cut and another one of my dogs 6th. Per the entry count 4 Award of Merits were permitted to be given out. Per the Superintendent, it was based on the amount of dogs that showed up and per the super's count 3 AOM should have been given out and only 2 were. I spoke with the judge later that eve and he said the ring steward told him only 2. So not only will I never show to Bruce Voran again, I most likely will not show to a judge with him as a ring steward. Due to Grand Chammpion requiring a count, this could be a problem for Mr. Voran.

This is an update (2017)- In the breed ring he looks at the dogs, not the handlers. Structure and soundness are important and he doesn't let politics get in the way of judging. We would show to him again

I have found him to be rude. He could not find the testicles on my special and said if I could not "find them" he would excuse him! This is a top dog! Please.

Showed to Mr. Voran for the first time today. I had been warned by MANY other exhibitors and handlers that he is rude and political. I found him to be defensive, rude and definitely political. On my DNS list for PWDs, BMDs and for anything else I show. I will also be recommending to my kennel club that we don't ever consider him for judging.

Boxer Breeder. Easy with the dogs. Joked a bit with exhibitors. I found him very pleasant.

this guy is SO afraid of my breed that he walked up as stiff as if he was stuck on a post. He asked in the oddest way, "Is he ok today? does he want to be examined?" or some other inane blither. after he frightened both of my dogs that have never broken a stack for exam (even the new import), when I tried to explain to him how to properly approach a Kuvasz, by simply talking normally to the exhibitor, he acted is if HE knew better than me (and I've been in the breed since 1985) sigh......
