Always enjoy showing to Paula. She loves excellent movement and correct structure and isn't afraid to put a class dog over specials.

Very nice to show to. Didn't go with handlers except for breed, which is expected. May like big dogs.

Judged only the dogs and didn't look up the lead. All her choices were correct with good movement. She seemed to prefer a slightly smaller, more refined hound. Although I didn't win under her I would definitely give her an entry any time.

Continued disappointment and wondering if she even remembers our Standard. Last time she did finally put up a bitch - but with short legs!! Then an oversized male with a curly, crooked tail for opposite. Ugh. I will no longer be showing to her as she’s all over the place. Pleasant with a plastic smile just doesn’t do it. Previous Note: Our breed has very few nice bitches. IMO, those few good ones should be seen and appreciated, not relegated to Best opp - but this judge is like so many and can't find the end of the line. She put up a flashy but too tall male with a crooked front and cow hocked rear over a very nice, plainer bitch who has managed to be found by breeder judges for multiple group ones. I expected better. She does have great ring procedure she is always pleasant. I just thought she would be better.

found her very pleasant with nice ring procedure. Didn't seem to look up the lead. Picked what she liked and was very consistent with her picks. I will show to her again!

Professional, good ring procedure, and most importantly understands breed type and standards.

pleasant to show to and very consistent in what she likes. Understands breed type and doesn't just follow trends

All over the board! The only consistency she has is judging on color, if you are not red, don't waste your money and if there was a well known handler in the ring-you can guess the rest. She says she likes fronts and then dumps the dogs with the best ones. Put a puppy up over a special (handler). Asks for dogs' age in BBE class. Pleasant enough and gentle with the dogs but she needs to reread the standard and judge the dogs structure, not the color or the handler. Won't waste my $ again.

Appears to judge on color. Ignores structure, movement, pigmentation, standard. Very nice pleasant judge, just needs to read standard.

Needs to read and understand the breed standard. Ignored poor structure in favor of handler and quantity of hair on dog. Would not show to again.

Just judged the regular classes at our national specialty. It was extremely hot, but she managed to stay calm and pleasant throughout what must have been an exhausting assignment. On the whole, I thought she did a good job and put up typey dogs with nice side gait (I couldn't see down and back, so can't comment there). BUT put up a very average dog from the BBE class where the handler/co-breeder is a very well known professional, and then gave him Winner's Dog over much better specimens. She managed to pick the right dogs and bitches in other classes, so how come her judgement went out the window in this case? In the bitch classes she did find the right bitch in BBE and gave her Winners' Bitch (and then on to BoW and BOS under a different judge). I did not have a dog in the regular classes, so this isn't 'sour grapes'. I do think she 'gets' our breed, she has been very pleasant and patient whenever I have shown to her, so I will continue to do so, but she is definitely political when it suits her.

Nice enough judge, question her motive for putting up a class bitch BOS over well behaved specials that were nice examples of the breed??? The bitch would NOT stand for exam, quit literally FREAKED out when she tried to touch her???

Pleasant to show to, consistent with her choices, but seems to reward well advertised dogs with little virtue exhibited by well known handlers. Not a good judge for o/h or standard conforming dogs with good temperaments, should have excused a dog that could not be examined, she instead rewarded it with BOS.

Have a well-trained experienced dog. She's pleasant and professional, but if you are a new exhibitor, be ready. Could not get a handle on what she was looking for after watching her judge many breeds.

put up short legs, fluffy stuffy dog with bad tail. Has no understanding of proportions or correct tails.

Total face judge. Not worth an entry as an owner-handler.

very pleasant and gentle with the dogs. did a nice job at a supported entry for my breed, definitely finding typey dogs to put up. we did not win with all of our entries, but felt we got a fair evaluation.

its all about the faces!!!

Very pleasant and courteous. Very gentle on the dogs. Seems to have a decent handle on the breed standard and how to apply it to her entry.

A pleasure to watch-always smiling and polite, and looks like she loves the dogs.

Placed an average class bitch over a multiple group winning bitch SHE herself had previously awarded a group too, but this time the bitch was owner handled. Judging in the classes was very poor in several breeds.

Very pleasant to show to. Picks what she likes and doesn't seem influenced by who is handling the dog.

very professional. Pleasant and clear in her instructions. We understand her choices each time even if we don't win, and she seems consistent in her choices.
