She was charming to show to and was complimentary about her entry. Nice to show to a judge who enjoys what she is doing. |

Horrible experience. Clueless about breed standard. Cannot understand why she is being hired. |

Watched her judge several breeds, put up handlers with mediocre dogs Over much nicer owner handled dogs and where there were no handlers she had no rhyme or reason to her placing especially in French bulldogs she needs to brush up on her standard very poor interpretation of the breed standards on my DNS list and I always give judges a few chances, she’s not worth an entry |

Inexcusably bad choices. . .whether due to politics or cluelessness. Will never get another entry from me. Don't waste your time or money unless she knows you. |

I do not agree she knows a good dog. I would say she does not, and looks for the other end of the lead. Very political, will put up only known faces. Definitely should learn more about my breed, and start judging dogs!!!!! |

Put up handler with terrible dog, dumped a specialty winner (didn't watch it run), didn't seem to care about the dogs or the show. DNS judge |

Have never shown to this judge before so went in with an open mind. Those of you who know me, know i rarely post negative critiques of judges. This might be a first. I watched 10 breeds in total, including my own. No time to stack your dog on the table. she was on the dog before you even had the front end arranged. Very cursory exam. Gave everyone equal time on movement aspect. The dogs were all basically equal in quality, except that every breed i watched......if there was a handler on the dog that is what won. Class entries, specials....any dog with a handler was her choice whether it was badly behaved or not. In many cases i can agree that handlers JUST might have had the best dog, but that was not the case within the all breeds i watched. There were many BOH, and OH dogs that were far more worthy of the wins. I cannot fault the choice of WB in my breed...she is a stunning girl, and mine, while nice, is a hair over the ideal size. No issue on my part there. My special is young...and STUPID right now...so also not deserving of a BOB win, so my assessment is not based on her judging within my own breed...but within breeds i observed before and after. I would show to her again, but with the full knowledge that i can expect nothing if there are handlers in the breed ring.

watched ring side as she put a special up for BOB- handler had to run backward with a sqeeky toy for the dog to walk- handler was a friend

This was my first experience with this Judge. I felt her judging was very political; she favored handlers and other judges entered into the competition. Not sure she gave all the dogs/bitches a fair shake. |

Reviews the dogs fairly quickly, but seems to give fair share of review on each dog. Seems to like a good mover with a cute head. Does not seem to like foxy heads. |

This judge is totally not political. She obviously likes a good moving, sound dog. Used owner handlers consistently at a big circuit over handlers all day long in all the breeds I watched. I will travel to show under her again. Thought she was so refreshing after so many politics these days. |

My only experience with this judge was pretty discouraging. I heard rumblings prior to showing to her that she may not have been the best judge to show to. I try to keep an open mind but she did not pay attention to her entries for this breed while in the ring at all, actually was scanning the crowd ring side several times as she was "judging" them. I felt that the exhibitors money was wasted as she did not give us the courtesy of actually paying attention to our entries. Will try again and hope for better from her. |

Thought I'd give Ms St.John-Brown and entry. Found out she is inconsistent with her placements and gravitates to the handlers. WD,BOW,and BOB were handlers. She was patient with the puppies. She will not get another entry from me, an Owner-handler. |

Likes a large well moving male, in my breed. Has no sence of humor with puppies-a smile might crack her face I guess. would only show to her if I had to. |

I am surprised to see so many comments that she is political. That has not been my experience at least in my breed. Saw her put up an owner handled, very correct, if not "cutesy", sound and balanced moving special, breed over a top dog in the country with a big handler who was less than sound. It appeared she valued good movement. Later showed to her myself and won a major with a pretty and reasonably well moving dog from BBE over some other major faces. At least in my breed she did not appear to be looking at handlers. Update: I continue to like her judging even though I did not win. Seems to be consistently picking pleasing type. Looks for good, balanced sidegait, probably weighting that more than length of leg or size as I have seen her put up both taller and smaller/shorter legged. Judging Poms in grass can make this harder but her picks were still reasonable. |

Showed to her once many years ago. The politics were so glaring I decided never to show to her again and have never regretted the decision. What she really seems to enjoy is spending her time talking and visiting and chatting with the other judges. Just watched her judge NOHS a decade after my first comment on her and was impressed. Maybe it was b/c it was OH so no politics involved, but I thought she made good decisions. Changing my rating from a 2 to a 3, but I wouldn't enter under her if pro handlers were going to be there. |

Not clear on her preferences except maybe smaller dogs with refinement, pretty heads, and up on leg. Gentle exam, good with puppies. |

Does not care one bit about movement or structure. She only cares about who is on the other end of the lead. She gave winners dog to a dog that side winded and had lumbering movement all because of the well know handler that was on him. Disgraceful. People watching outside the ring where disgusted. She Is forever on my Do Not Show List |

Good with puppies and not afraid to award them points. Tends to like larger males and pretty females. Good movement is important. |

can spot a good dog but she needs to actually look at the dog instead of who is up the lead. Had choices made up before looking at her first dog er I mean face. |

Put up what some would consider a plain, solid greyhound bitch that was the smallest entry in the classes. However, the bitch was the most correct one being shown! Judges to the standard; appreciates good movement. Even seems to consider the suggested weight portion of the greyhound standard. Pleasant & refreshing. |

Found her extremely pleasant and unbiased during her provisional statis. She really knew the standards and judged the dogs and nothing else and seemed to be loving it. Total 180 the next time I showed to her. She was almost sullen and I agree had her choices before the dogs were ever officially called into the ring.
I will show to her once more as I'm hoping it was a bad day. I know I miss the lovely woman that I first exhibited to. |

Will definitely try her again. |

Have shown to her many times. Can be political for BOB judging, but seems to do a good job judging the classes. Have won & lost under her. Very nice lady with soft hands. Great to show puppies to. |
