Pleasant and gentle with the dogs and seems to put a great deal of thought in her choices.

I used to think she was a good judge. Now she doesn't seem to care about movement or structure. DNS list.

Wasn't very impressed with her, but neither was she with my dogs. :-) Would give her another chance, perhaps will make better sense out of her choices.

Not sure if she was having a bad day, but I didn't find her all that pleasant the day I showed to her. She seemed bored and perfunctory in her judging tasks. Bent to handlers for her picks, which is OK. Not sure if I'd give her another entry. Unimpressed with her overall.

Although Mrs. McFarlane was pleasant in the ring. It was apparent rather quickly that she did not know the standard for the breed. I was extremely disappointed when I realized, she had a ringer outside the ring nodding their head giving approval of the choice to place. She is totally on my DNS list! This is the type of judge that really constant evaluation from AKC.

A+ for Mrs. McFarlane. Entries shown were 6-8-4-5 (3pts-D / 2-pts-B, but bitch got the crossover). Mrs. McFarlane was a joy to show to. She was pleasant, appeared to truly enjoy judging, had a sense of humor when warranted, was clear in her ring procedures, was patient with dogs/handlers/switching armbands/setting up on the table, and looked at every dog. She was soft-spoken, so you need to listen. This is one of the few judges I've shown to recently that actually watched the dogs on the down and back AND the entire way on the go-around. How refreshing!!! She appeared to focus equally on movement and structure (Bostons are a head breed and all too often judges disregard poor structure if the dog has a nice head). Her awards were consistent and appropriate. I think I agreed with nearly all her awards. Even though the majority of her awards were to professional (or former professional) handlers, her dogs were very similar and consistent (and well-deserved), so I would not assume she leans towards pro-handlers.

She is pleasant and has a good sense of humor as a person but as a judge just okay. Her BOB and BOS at recent specialty diversely different. No clue on her type. Political

Clueless. She had no idea what she was doing in her ring. She got confused in breed and tried to give winners bitch a select and a special dog best of winners.

Very nice judge, pleasant to competitors, VERY nice with Exam on young dog. Watched her judge a few other breeds too, and she seemed to make a point of making complimentary comments when she felt were due. She gave my young 1yr old dog WD with me on him in Bred By, so I would say definitely judged the dogs not the handlers. He is within standard but on the smaller side, moves well and put together well so likely the other comments about liking movement are valid. Will show to her again if given the chance.

She did a very unusual job judging the male entries in a fairly large show. Was all over the place with type and quality of structure and movement. Then did quite a good job with a large bitch entry and specials entry. Did not put up handlers with poor dogs. Her BOB, BOS, WB, & Selects were constant and of quality. Maybe it takes her some time to realize what breed she is judging? Her WD did not match the rest of her picks.

Very pleasant to show to, but in the end, only handlers walked away with the points.

Seemed very nice in the ring but had eyes only for her friends. Does not adhere to the grooming of our standard. Put up highly sculpted dogs and friends. It was too obvious... Probably will not show to her again.....

This judge is so POLITICAL. Gave wins to handlers who had dogs that should have been Disqualified...I will NEVER enter to this judge again.

Judge was very thorough, into movement, didn't seem to care for color (brindles) - was super nice with exhibitors, spent some time talking with one (very positive). Would be great with pups or new handlers, also with dogs that really move.
