know what she is looking for, appreciates a pretty head and good movement

She is one of our breed's true gems and it is always a pleasure to show to her. She looks for a pretty overall picture in a lineup and has a keen eye for balance and type, something very rare in this breed. She knows what a good head is and will reward it unlike so many other judges who look only at movement and markings. If you have a really nice Boston, she will find it.

This judge does not like overhandling. she likes animation. Seems to prefer smaller dogs.

Mrs Zimmerman was looking for a dog that could move and had the structure to back it up. She examined all dogs thoroughly and had us move several times. I felt like win or lose it was a great group experience.

Mrs. Zimmerman was quite pleasant, though soft spoken, so you need to listen when she is giving direction. Her awards were consistent and it appeared that her primary focus was size (small) and showmanship. She seemed to forgive slightly off movement or a bit of length in body. She did not even consider any of the larger dogs, even though several were also deserving, but at least she was consistent. However, it was blatantly apparent that she only gave my bitch SB (bigger and not very "showy", but fluid movement, correct structure, and lovely, soft face) because there was no other bitch to give it to and to prove that point, as she was handing out the ribbons, she was complimentary to every other exhibitor (BOB, BOW, BOS, SD), but simply handed me my ribbon without so much as a word - not even when I smiled & said thank you (actually, she didn't even look at me), so - sadly, even though it completed my girl's GCH, it was quite anti-climatic and I didn't feel the "joy" I usually do. If I have something small, cute, and showy, I will show to her again, but otherwise, I will likely save my entry.

Judge Zimmerman had a tough decision with a class full of nice specials (no class dogs). She commented on the quality and the difficulty in choosing the winners. I was happy with her choices and the way she ran her ring. I would show to her again.

She is patient with new handlers and green dogs and put up harl and fawn dogs. She seems to appreciate owner/handlers. It is clear she really enjoys the dogs which was a great boost to my dogs confidence (and my own).

Did a great job judging our breed. Knows what she likes and uses it.

Gave a major pointed dog reserve - only one with tail up, said she penalized her for being 'too happy to be a real Gordon." Who knew they weren't supposed to be showy?

Will put up an owner handler over the pro if she likes the dog. Very professional in the ring and gentle with the dog I would love to show to her again if I get the opportunity. A great boost to my bitches confidance!

Keen eye for good working movement, bone, substance in working breed

Loves pretty, small, cute faced and showy poms, and sometimes will consider a taller pom if it has the type of head she loves. Puts more emphasis on covering ground on the go-around than cleanliness coming and going, I would say. Will sometimes place Poms in group. Always very friendly and always quick to tell you how nice the entry is in your breed/group/etc today. Whether or not you agree with her picks you can count on her to be pretty consistent, even when I have lost she usually has put up something I knew she would look at. Twice I have lost with a dog I thought she would have liked, then later won under her with the same dog, she just happened to like something else a little better the first time. I wish more judges were as consistent.

Gave time to each entry. Pleasant to special needs junior handler. Consistent and appears to like smaller, typey toy. Very professional. One of the best judges in manner and joy to show too. Gentle with puppies.

Has some favorite people she will fequently put up but otherwise looks for a good dog.

Was certainly consistent at a specialty. Put the same person up over and over again for WD, WB, BOB......

Very nice to show too, pays attention to the exhibit during examination, gentle with puppies, likes head, coat and movement (in that order)

She was very pleasant to show to. Judged the dogs and didn't appear to look at the other end of the lead. She seemed to enjoy and cared about judging. Will find her to show to her again.

Great understanding of breed type! She always looks at the right end of the lead and does a very good job finding the best dog or bitch in the ring!
