Always seems to find the best dogs in working class. Good ring demeanor. He does like a dog that is well presented.

Amazing that this guy still gets assignments. Have shown to him numerous times, and watched him judge a bunch up in New England (where his "friends" seem to get him a ridiculous number of assignments). Have to wonder how long it's been since he read a breed standard. His default is to always go with the "face" or faces in the ring -- handlers, handlers, handlers. No matter what they're showing. ANd when there aren't handlers in the ring? In one breed I watched him put up a BYB pet (entered to help build a major) over a finished champion (also entered to help build the major). I can't even say that he values soundness over breed type, or vice versa, as it appears he knows nothing about either. Do not waste your money...or spend even more money and hire one of his buds to show your dogs.

Totally political. Put up the worst dog in a large class (for a major) was the only one with a handler. When he went to go over the dog, it nearly hit the floor to avoid being touched, he never did get close to it again and still he gave it the major. There were plenty of good dogs in the ring that day he could have picked. Worse yet, in the other sex there were no handlers and he did a pick the best dog. |
