Was very heavy handed and intimidating to the dogs as he stood right up next to the table (although I was told he was feeling poorly that day so probably for support). Didn't step away from the table while the dogs went down & back. Didn't seem to give much consideration to outline in a stack as he spent really no time looking at the dogs that way. Seemed to emphasize heads over all else as he had the dogs stand in the middle of the ring head on which was quite unusual. In the end his picks were not bad and not politically motivated but I was left feeling like the overall dog wasn't exactly taken into consideration. |

This man stood at the front edge of the table, was very heavy handed in examining bites and reached across the dogs to do his "inspection". All of which doesn't go over well with chihuahuas. Choose short & cobby with cutesy heads. Seemed to apply only part of the breed standard in his selections. |

Neither of our dogs were put up by this judge although both made the cut. He appears casual however we don't feel this is the case at all. We think he is interested in outline, movement and presentation. He is decisive and clear. We found him to be quite efficient in his rings so the handling must be very focused and crisp. |

Another of the judges that want a minpin statue on the table. Most of the time that just doesnt happen, and then if you dont give that dog a fair look on the floor, you are probably over looking a good dog |

While many will say that Mr. Stanbridge appears to be bored in the ring, I don't think he is at all. I do think he knows dogs, is not overly political, and he is very decisive, efficient, etc. He's not in the ring trying to make friends with anyone, he goes about his business and he knows what he wants and finds it. I would show to him any time. I have won and lost under him, but never left the ring feeling like he was doing anything more than judging dogs and was consistent in what he put up. |

Couldn't agree more with the comment from Feb. Recently judged a supported entry in our breed and he appeared to be totally bored. Could care less about the entry and didn't do any type of evaluation. Save your money. |

Never shown to anyone who looks less at the exhibits than what I experienced with this judge. He rushed the classes through and his hands were on the next exhibit before the current one had even began their down/back. Many exhibitors were offended. |

Put up a very lovely, very feminine 12-18 bitch for WB,BW. She's similar in type to the dog he selected for BOB. RWB went to a very feminine black bitch. Good sense of humor. Clear in his instructions. Straightforward ring procedure. |

Seemed very knowledgeable of standard and went over each dog throughly. Did not seem to pay attention to the person on the other end of the lead. Would show to again. |

Knowledgeable about breed type. Good sense of humor. Have shown to him several times and he seems very consisent in his choices of a typey well-balanced dog, with good structure and soundness. |

One of the few who knew the breed well. Has judged the breed in the country of origin. Called us in for a conference after our breed time and explained his rankings! |

Likes his ring to run like a well oiled machine and doesn't want to be kept waiting. Felt like he judges the dogs and wanted a lot of confidence and attitude in his Toys. He wanted a clean moving dog and I agree that the overall dog was of more importance to him than just a pretty head. |

I was impressed with him the last time I showed to him. He went over the head, looked at expression, considered the overall dog as well as head. |

He's one of a kind He knows our breed inside and out. Stickler for temperament. In all breeds he really does judge the dogs. He's very quick and efficent as he knows what he wants. |

Does not mind, or seems to prefer, a great moving dog with good substance. Does what he wants to do and it seems that he judges the dog, not the handler. |
