The dog she chose had awful rear movement and a short kinked tail. His head is over sized but for some reason he went BOB over specials all weekend long. No clue why. As for this judge - she is fine for giving a puppy ring exposure. I did not see favoritism to handlers however. UPDATE: This weekend she chose an owner/handler for BOB from the classes and a somewhat similar owner/handled botch for BOS.

This judge was a replacement on a panel that we had already entered in, and I should have pulled my dog and got my money back, after reading the ratings here. Sure wish I would have. She is on the top of my DNS list.

She was pleasant to show too…Great Ring Presence! Glad there was a judge change in this case….she put up an Owner Handler for WD – Major Win and would definitely show to her again. Her judging was based on more of the Breed Standard rather than “the flavor of the month” stock. Excellent Judge.

Had heard great things about this judge and had high hopes. She put up less that mediocre examples of the breed. High in the rear, bad fronts, down faced. Really disappointed in her selections. I did not show anything to her and will never again. Very sad that a judge with so many good examples of the breed consistently picks the worst.

Very nice in the ring. Good ring procedure. Seemed to make her decision at first impression. Likes professional handlers but not afraid to put up owner/handler if a good specimen. Would definitely show to again.

I have been showing my breed for 40 years and I will never enter under Dawn. One would think after all this time she'd have a firm grip of the IG standard. No such luck. It no longer looks promising.

Mrs. Hansen was indeed a pleasure to show to. She had a lovely, friendly ring manner and was very good with puppies as well as with the adult dogs and exhibitors, too. She gave each dog a careful going over and moved them more than once if she felt it was necessary. She appears to like a good moving dog. I would show to her again.

I would not show to this person again. I expect a fair look from a judge - not a snear and a look away. If I were showing a mediocre speciman, I might accept it, but these were dogs deserving of at least a look.

I feel she looks for a small compact showing fool and side gait picture is very important to her.
