I hate to type something negative to begin so I will say she dresses nicely. Now. As for her judging - she could really use some more mentoring in almost every breed I observed at this cluster. She never smiles, is rude to exhibitors, seems miserable and confused half the time. None of us really knew what she wanted us to do. She never gave any clear instructions. Basically she made hand/arm gestures and we guessed. Her choices are all over the place. I could not follow what she was looking for. She also seems to complain a lot and is a busybody. A LOT. Folks - you are a dog judge, you are not a neurosurgeon. Just judge the dogs. It's not that hard. Read and understand the standard. Get plenty of mentoring in each breed before you take them on. Then please pay attention to the actual dogs in your ring, not whats happening outside your ring. And for goodness sakes if you dont enjoy what your chosen job is please get a different job! You arent helping the breeds and the people in your ring arent having a good time either. So - basically, save your money. Even the pro handlers were confused, bored, annoyed in her ring this particular weekend.

Watched this judge for several groups and a number of breeds over three different weekends. She *CAN* do a decent job, but doesn't always.

Shown to her several times, no idea what she's looking for. Not interested in NOHS and doesn't know the rules at all. At one show, she chose her BoB/BW/SD/SB, then pointed to the sole remaining dog in the ring for OHBOB as if to offer a ribbon to everyone. When told that the remaining male champion was not eligible for OH as he had been beaten by the SD, she rejudged among the dogs eligible (SD, SB, & BW), and gave it to BW (which unfortunately was a poor choice for winning the class, much less Winners and OHBOB given the competition).

Nice Judge to show to. Knows a good side gait. Found her judging to be fair and non-politcal.

On an extremely hot day and a very late ring time she was very understanding and patient with the dogs in her ring. The only thing I did not agree with was her procedure when it came to the winners dog and bitch in the breed ring. She sent both out of the ring and selected her BOB from the champions in her ring then brought the winners back in and chose her best of winners. Didn’t seem to give the winners any consideration for BOB.

Highly recommend showing to Ms. Buehler. She cares to learn both the core of what makes a breed and the finer points of the standard. Enjoys and recognizes elegance and beauty in her ring when presented.

She was a very friendly judge but should learn the standard. Would not show to her again.

She is a very good judge in particular in movement. Enjoys the dogs and good in her examination. Would consider her a very fair and consistent judge. Not afraid to put a class dog up.

Ms. Buehler is very nice, but a fruitloop. She was all over the place in her picks, except for the Top Special.

Appreciates good movement, not political. Will show to again

When will AKC realize that it's not a good idea for judges to be allowed to show?
