Not familiar with the standard as it pertains to coat. Heavily weights her selections based on color and length of the coats, vice type and movement. |

Very nice lady. I did not win, but my dog acted up and hopped and skipped. Watched her all day in MO and she did a great job in Toy breed and Toy group, I agreed with her choices or could see why. |

Judge witheld ribbon for dog being out of coat. Should understand that double coated breeds will drop coat and not discount the dog as a whole |

Ms. Dobkins was easy to follow in her choices as it was up the lead. She made some odd comments to me regarding dogs on the table. Handler judge. |

I've shown under her once and observed her twice. She puts up the same dog from one show to the next even with the tail dragging on the ground which is unacceptable in Papillons. I think she need some breeder's education. |

No one at ring side could follow her placements and winners at major entries. Have no idea what she wants in a working dog. Would not show to again because I have no idea what kind of dog to take her. In one class she placed the dogs before she examined the last dog. The handler let her know that her dog hadn't been examined. After examination she changed her placement. |

Hope you have a standard tricolor pap, or be prepared to be ignored. Very professional in the ring and nice and gentle with the dogs. Just doesn't seem to like reds. Also seems very taken with smaller (really small) bitches. |

Does a good job in my breed. Looks at the dogs and not the people, but again, there are very few handlers in the minpin ring. I will show again and again, with no problems |

Full of herself and moody. Very opinionated and feels a needs to do things differently from others. Can do a good job but does not necessarily believe she is required to do so. |

Has her favorites: Her WD was nice, but there were nicer papillons. What are happening to papillons??? There 3 or 4 that were very nice: dainty, elegant, butterflies. She did not pick any. What are happening to papillons??? Are they changing so much that correct looks different? Sad.
Chi's ..never saw a judge place a dog first in class who would not gait at all, refused, and stopped to sit. Agent carried dog who clearly did not want any part of showing on this day. Tail down, timid, and scared. No one could see, nor could the judge feel her top line, see expression on table or on the ground?
Excused a dog she put her hand over for not staying in a stack?
Excused another dog for "soiling 'her' ring"? The dog had loose stool...it happens? Reprimanded dogs agent for the loose stoll?
And this is an AKC judge??? Disgusting!DNS |

Ms. Dobkin is a maverick! She does what she wants in the ring! Not a follower, but a leader!
Pleasant to show to,and always will give both owner and professional handler the courtesy of a fair look! |

Does what she wants to without regard to who is on the lead. Put a class dog over a top 10 special with a well-known handler. Gave it thought, and still went that way. Wants presence, movement and light on any hairspray. |
