Initial Breed: Alaskan Malamutes

We have owned/bred Malamutes for over 35 years. We've had a limited breeding program producing nationally ranked BIS, Specialty and group winning dogs. I currently judge the working group and Aussies. I've had the honor of judging Malamute nationals in Australia, Belgium, France and the UK as well as national week in the US. One of the most fun assignments was judging the Top 20 for my breed. I've also judged Akita and Great Pyrenees specialties in the US as well as sweepstakes for the Shiba national specialty.

I am a life member of the Alaskan Malamute club of America, having served as secretary and president. I am currently co-chair of the Judges Ed program and working on the Illustrated Standard committee. I've served as specialty chairperson, Top 20 chairperson and in other capacities for AMCA. In addition to AMCA I am a member of the So. Oregon KC, Mt. Rainier Working Dog Club, Oregon Dog Judges, American Dog Show Judges, and Dog Judges Assoc. of America. I am co-owner with my husband and daughter/son-in-law of a RV Dealership in Medford, Oregon. My interests include politics and spending time at the beach with our dogs and family.
