Judge's Background & History

Ms. Madeline K. Miller
Home: Roseville, MI
Initial Breed: Miniature Pinschers

After attending my first dog show in 1968, I showed a Doberman the following year and became “hooked” instantly. I then began exhibiting and breeding Dobes in earnest. I acquired my first Miniature Pinscher in 1974, intending it as a “fun” diversion, but eventually became more involved with Min Pins and less with Dobes. I no longer actively breed and show but in 20-plus years bred and/or owned over 75 champions in three different countries, including an all-breed Best in Show winner, Group winners and two Westminster Breed winners.

I started Judging in 1995 and I love it! I have judged a number of Toy Breed and working Breed Specialties. I’m a life member of the Miniature Pinscher Club of America and serve as Judges Education Chair. A founding and Charter member of the Motor City Miniature Pinscher Club, I also belong to the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, Progressive Dog Club of Wayne County and National and local Judges Groups.

At this time I share my home with a Rescue Doberman and a 15-year-old Min Pin.
