She has been judging cockers since 2007 at both Specialty and All Breed shows. She was honored to judge BOB and ascobs at the ASC Summer Nationals in Pomona, CA in 2009. She was pleased to judge at Midwestern CSC Specialty at Alberta, Canada 2010 on the day following the Canadian National.

She is presently at permit status for cavaliers, chesapeake bay retrievers, clumbers, german shorthair pointers, Gordon setters, Irish setters, spinoni, and weimaraners. She is also approved for cockers, english cockers, english setters, springers, and chihuahuas. She plans to pursue additional Sporting and Toy breeds in the coming year.

Mrs. Lane is now a Texas resident as of 2007. She and her husband and dogs moved from SC to Victoria with a career change. She is a retired NBPTS mathematics teacher.

She is a Lifetime Member of the American Spaniel Club, Inc. and the Carolina Cocker Spaniel Club. She is a member of the Dog Judges Association of America & the American Dog Show Judges organization.
