Started exhibiting in the late 1960s. Started judging 1994. Have bred and exhibited 5 GSD who were top ranked and were BIS winners in the USA or Canada...the last was AKC, UKC, CKC, INT. Ch. Von Hamm Bedker Leathern' Lace, a multiple AKC, UKC and INT. BIS winner and AOM 2006 National Championship. Born and raised in Ohio. Attended Nursing School in Warren OH, Anesthesia School at Mary Hitchcock Hospital (in assoc. with Dartmouth Med. School) in Hanover, NH. Linfield College in Oregon (BA with majors in Literature and Philosophy). Retired from Kaiser Permanente Hospitals (Oregon) in 1999.
