Initial Breed: Soft-Coated Wheaten TerriersSue and her husband have been involved with Wheaten Terriers since 1968, producing 68 Champions, two Top Producers, multiple Specialty winners and Group placers. She began judging in 1995 and is currently approved for all Terriers and Group, all Sporting and Group, Poodles, Bichon Frise, Petit Basset Griffon Vondeen, Junior Showmanship and Best in Show. She is also provisional for Boston Terriers, Bulldogs, Dalmatians, French Bulldogs, Lhasa Apso, Lowchen, Schipperkes, Tibetan Spaniels and Tibetan Terriers. She served on the Standard Revision Committee of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, judged Wheatens at the National Specialty at Montgomery County Kennel Club show in October, 2010 as well as the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Association of Canada National Specialty twice and i! s an approved breed mentor. She has taught Wheaten grooming at numerous seminars, judged various Specialties and all breed shows in China, Europe and Canada and has been a Delegate to the American Kennel Club continuously since 1988, serving on the Dog Show Rules Committee and has been a keynote speaker at various kennel clubs. She is past President of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Metropolitan New York and the Garden State All-Terrier Club, and a member of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America, Morris and Essex Kennel Club, Somerset Hills Kennel Club, and Lewiston-Auburn Kennel Club. In her other life, Sue is an Executive Recruiter specializing in senior level assignments for small to Fortune 100 corporations. She and Harvey have two married sons and six grandchildren.
