Judge's Background & History

Mrs. Lisa Dube Forman
Home: SCHUYLERVILLE, NY
Initial Breed: Irish Wolfhounds

I am a Breeder/Exhibitor Judge of Irish Wolfhounds and have been a devotee since 1984. I take great pride in the fact that during my critical early years and long before I bred my first litter I have been tutored by then esteemed mentors and have spent many years studying my sighthound breed with hands-on training, vigilant observation and discourse regarding shape, type and movement. It is a sighthound principle that form ever follows function.

My passion, enthusiasm and admiration for the sighthound and our sport inspired me to become an AKC Irish Wolfhound Breeder- Judge in 2007 and in 2008 I was approved for the King of Dogs, the Afghan Hound. My long-term goals are ambitious as I plan on pursuing all the sight and scent hunting hounds in order to develop into a knowledgeable and distinguished Hound Specialist. I have had wonderful judging opportunities afforded me since I began my judging career such as the Irish Wolfhound Association of Puget Sound Specialty, as well as celebrated dog shows such as the Kennel Club of Palm Springs and the Bryn Mawr Kennel Club. I am also very interested in judging Whippet and Rhodesian Ridgeback sweepstakes, sanctioned matches and special events however, I would be happy to do the same for all the other sight or scent breed sweepstakes, futurity and match opportunities.

I would consider it a privilege if your club would grant me the opportunity to adjudicate at your Kennel Club show.
