I've been breeding Old English Sheepdogs under the Auriga prefix since 1973, finishing 128 Canadian Champions and acquiring over 30 BIS. Our first National Specialty was the American OES National in 1979 under English breeder judge Miss Florence Tilley, of the famous Shepton Kennel. Auriga dogs have been Best of Breed numerous times at the Canadian OES Nationals. In 2007 our homebred MBIS, BISS Can, Am. Ch Auriga’s Robert the Rogue was #10 All Breed in Canada and sire of Best of Winners at the American OES Nationals.

We have also been active in the Hound Group for the past twenty-five years showing Irish Wolfhounds, Whippets and for the past ten years PBGVs, achieving our first PBGV BIS in 2002 with Ch Charlen’s Cezanne De Mirepoix ranked number 10 Hound in Canada. We finished our first of three English Champions in 2007 in five shows, two Reserve CCs and 3 CCs in less then two months with Can Am Ch Soletraders Bugs Bunny.
