Peter J. Green
Home: Bowmansville, PA
Initial Breed: Terriers [Greenfield]Peter Green, famous Terrier expert and judge, who judged at the FCI World Show in Sweden in 2008 and Best in Show at Crufts (UK) in 2009. The only living person to have won Best in Show at both Westminster, which he did four times - and at Crufts. Six times piloted a dog to the position of No.1 All Breeds in the US; 8 times BIS at the Montgomery County Kennel Club.
Peter is originally from Wales but has called Bowmansville, Pennsylvania home since 1963. After his retirement as a top handler at Westminster 2006, Peter became an AKC-approved judge. His Norfolk Terrier won Best In Show at Crufts in 2005 and he would be the second person ever to win Best In Show and then judge the same category. Peter Green is, quite simply, one of the most successful dog people ever. He is best known for Terriers, but has shown and won with almost all breeds, from Chihuahuas to Working and Sporting dogs.
