Mr. Timothy Catterson

Timothy Catterson has been involved with the sport of purebred dogs since 1974 when he purchased his first Italian Greyhound. His family always had dogs, from Dachshunds to Pugs, and he bred Pugs while in high school and during his time in the military. Toy dogs were always his passion so along with the Italian Greyhound he bred Chihuahuas during the 1980s.

Mr. Catterson has been very involved with his local kennel clubs, Muncie and Anderson, in Indiana, currently serving as president of both clubs and as their show chair for the past 15 years. He has served in every position for other local and specialty clubs. He is past president of the Kokomo Kennel Club, vice president/past delegate of the Marion Kennel Club and has served in several capacities in the Pug and Pomeranian clubs in Indiana.

He is currently president of the Italian Greyhound Club of America and past chair for the national specialty. He has also won the national with one of his Evergreen Italian Greyhounds. Mr. Catterson has been an AKC-licensed judge for over 25 years, and has judged Toy dogs in Australia, China, Russia and South Africa. He is approved to judge the Toy Group, 18 Hound breeds and Dalmatians.
