Initial Breed: Dachshunds [Brandachs]

Breeding Longhair Dachshunds since 1978; grew up with horses, owned a couple of Thoroughbreds; 22-year career writing radio commercials, also a weekly pet column for the local paper for 15 years; garden columns for 8 years; articles published in Dachshund Annual book for 14 years; wrote local dog news column for the original Canine Review at it's inception!! Life CKC member; co-starter of the Prairie Dachshund Club,now a life member; helped start the Federation of Dachshund Clubs in Canada, now chairperson; an original member of CDJA; 15-year member of DJAA and ADSJ; Secretary, Manitoba Dachshund Club; President, Wheat City Kennel Club; member, Portage Kennel Club; 25-year member of DCA and 10-year member of NMDC. Currently serving on the CKC Breeder Relations committee; Judging since 1990 across Canada and the US - also in Australia. Now retired from my job, so spend November through April in sunny Arizona enjoying my art and writing.
