I also am an AKC judge for Field Trials and Earthdog Tests but currently spend my time in the conformation rings. Before I moved to Reno, I lived in Truckee, CA and was instrumental in getting the scent hound folks to get involved with canine legislation. I was the liaison for the Dachshund Club of America, Gold Country KC, Northern CA Dach Club and Golden Gate Dach Club. Then my husband of 32 years died suddenly and a year later, I moved to Reno and had to give up my "full time" job of doing this...I say this "tongue in cheek" because I WAS devoting more than 4 hrs daily on these stupid bills. I belong to the Dachshund Club of America, Northern CA Dach Club, Golden Gate Dach Club, Gold Country Kennel Club and Reno Kennel Club and am a board member for the 2 all-breed clubs. Dogs are my passion and I love judging.
