Initial Breed: Irish and English Setters

I began as a Irish and English Setter breeder as a youngster with my father and eventually a Collie Breeder. Later added Shetland Sheepdogs and went on to judge in the late '70s. Having spent most of my life in the northern states of NY, VT and Maine, I had friends in and became fermilier with all of the Arctic Breeds. We normally had Siberians, Mals and Sams running through our property training for races and shows. They were something to see "mushing" through the Apple orchards. Along the way I had champions and showed in Norwegian Elkhounds, Lhasa Apso and Australian Terriers. Now retired from the show ring I have two Pembroke Welsh Corgis at home and judge working and herding breeds internationally. I am a former Sports,TV and Radio Personality and elected State of Maine House of Representatives office holder and Speaker Pro-Temp. I now act and direct in the Motion Picture industry.
