Ms. Mary Schroeder
Home: Littleton, COI have had dogs all my life. The first dog I owned was a Springer Spaniel mix; my first show dog was a Great Dane named Hilda. At 5 feet tall and weighing 98 pounds I found the Danes a little hard to handle so moved on to Poodles (all 3 varieties) then to Lhasa Apsos, where I became an ROM (register of merit) breeder. Now, as I am older and wiser, slightly shorter and defiantly heavier I breed and show French Bulldogs. The care of coat, length and trim has become easier and easier.
As a judge I stick to the non-sporting group starting with the Frenchies, Poodles, Lhasa Apso but also Bulldogs, Chow Chow, Tibetan Terrier, Bischon, and Tibetan Spaniels. Soon I will be applying for others in the non-sporting group.
