Married with three daughters that all at one time or another were involved in Junior Handling, Valerie has attended many dog-related spectaculars over the years and was most fortunate to be able to participate in the AKC Institute Seminars for Sporting and Herding Breeds. She began her judging career 20 years ago and now is licensed for All Breeds. Three trips to Australia and New Zealand have been highlights in her judging career. She still actively breeds and exhibits Irish Setters under the KULANA prefix. Valerie spends many hours in her garden and with her husband cruising the Gulf Islands.
